Harvey Updyke's bond revoked in Wednesday hearing
OPELIKA, AL - Harvey Updyke appeared in court Wednesday morning for a hearing leading up to his trial on charges of poisoning Auburn University's landmark oak trees.
Updyke's bond was revoked at the hearing and he's been remanded to the Lee County Detention Center.The next status hearing will be on March 15. They will discuss a change of venue then.
Updyke is set for trial April 8 on charges of poisoning Auburn's oak trees at Toomer's Corner. He's charged with offenses including criminal mischief.
Auburn University is set to remove the trees after the April 20 A-Day game.
