Grinch steals Christmas presents from two Opelika homes | Crime

OPELIKA, AL - A grinch has been hitting the Opelika area.

Two homes just five miles apart, one on Hanson Court and the other on Toomer Court, had presents stolen from under Christmas trees Tuesday.

The victim on Hanson Court reported her door was kicked in and a handgun, necklace, 50 inch plasma TV, weather radio and a Kuerig coffee maker were taken.

The home on Toomer Court also had their door kicked in and a purse, a handgun and numerous wrapped Christmas presents totaling more than $3,000 were taken.

Both cases are under investigation.
