Suspect walks into Opelika home and robs victims at gun point | Crime
OPELIKA, AL - A man just walked in to rob several people in an Avenue B home on Nov. 29.
Police say the victim was sitting in his home with two other people around 6 p.m. when a black male wearing a black sweater and hoodie, dark pants, with a black bandana covering his face entered the residence.
The suspect pulled a handgun and demanded everyone get on the floor then ordered them to hand over their wallets.
The first victim handed over his wallet, which contained his driver's license and $100. The suspect took another victim's purse which had her license and $150. The third victim didn't have anything taken from him.
The suspect then left the residence and the victims believe he got into a car that was waiting outside of the residence and fled the area.
No one in the home was hurt during the robbery.
The victims further described the suspect as a black male about 5’4 tall and weighing approximately 150 lbs, in his early twenties.
The case is still under investigation.
