OPELIKA, AL - The Tiger Town TJ Maxx filed a theft complaint from August 2nd in the afternoon hours. The victim stated she was distracted by a (Asian or Hispanic) male while shopping and a female (possibly Hispanic) reached into shopping cart and stole her purse.  The purse contained $800.00 in cash, a checkbook along with four credit cards.

Later this same date (between 2:58PM and (3:00PM) the suspects used one of the victim’s credit cards at Best Buy, 2147 Tiger Town Parkway and purchased a Sony Vaio lap top and a Nintendo 3Ds, total loss to the Victim was $1,340.68.

The victim’s credit card was also used at Target 2640 Enterprise Drive (between 3:10PM and 3:20PM) where the suspects purchased two IPADS, extended warranties, and several gift cards, the total loss to the victim was $4,159.97.
